Moderators are the first line of defense in Connethβs decentralized ecosystem. They ensure disputes, content violations, and abuse are handled efficiently β without centralized control.
π§ Who Can Be a Moderator?
Only users with:
β Verified PoC status
β High Trust Rating (Connection Score > 75%)
β Community nomination or DAO approval
Moderators are voted in by the DAO and can be removed the same way.
π§ββοΈ Moderator Responsibilities
Review Disputes
Analyze DAO dispute filings and escalate when needed
Content Moderation (Social)
Flag/report content that violates platform policies (e.g., hate, threats)
Voting Oversight
Watch for spam or manipulation in proposal voting
Domain/Application Review
Review requests to buy wallet domains, advertiser verification, etc.
Trust Review
Flag wallet behavior that shows signs of being Sybil/bot/fraudulent

β οΈ Moderator Limitations
Cannot ban users permanently
Only DAO can decide full bans
Cannot alter smart contracts
Only DAO proposals can do this
No financial privileges
Cannot mint, withdraw, or alter $CONN
π³οΈ Removal or Suspension
Any 10 PoC users can trigger a Moderator Audit Proposal
If DAO vote passes, moderator is suspended or removed
Abuse reports (3 or more in 7 days) trigger automatic review
