Moderators are the first line of defense in Conneth’s decentralized ecosystem. They ensure disputes, content violations, and abuse are handled efficiently — without centralized control.
🧭 Who Can Be a Moderator?
Only users with:
✅ Verified PoC status
✅ High Trust Rating (Connection Score > 75%)
✅ Community nomination or DAO approval
Moderators are voted in by the DAO and can be removed the same way.
🧑⚖️ Moderator Responsibilities
Review Disputes
Analyze DAO dispute filings and escalate when needed
Content Moderation (Social)
Flag/report content that violates platform policies (e.g., hate, threats)
Voting Oversight
Watch for spam or manipulation in proposal voting
Domain/Application Review
Review requests to buy wallet domains, advertiser verification, etc.
Trust Review
Flag wallet behavior that shows signs of being Sybil/bot/fraudulent

🔍 Trust Graph access
🚫 Temporary flag or quarantine power (requires DAO backup after 48h)
📜 Activity logs recorded on-chain for transparency
⚠️ Moderator Limitations
Cannot ban users permanently
Only DAO can decide full bans
Cannot alter smart contracts
Only DAO proposals can do this
No financial privileges
Cannot mint, withdraw, or alter $CONN
🗳️ Removal or Suspension
Any 10 PoC users can trigger a Moderator Audit Proposal
If DAO vote passes, moderator is suspended or removed
Abuse reports (3 or more in 7 days) trigger automatic review
