The DAO Moderation Process is Conneth’s decentralized system for handling scam reports, abusive behavior, and Trust Score enforcement. Instead of relying on centralized platforms or admins, Conneth uses elected community moderators and DAO voting to resolve disputes and maintain integrity across the network.
🛠️ Moderation Workflow
User Submits Report
Reports can be filed against any wallet for scam, impersonation, spam, harassment, etc.
Auto-Flagging System
If a wallet is flagged multiple times or has a very low Trust Score, it is auto-queued for review.
DAO Moderator Review
Moderators (elected by DAO voters) receive the case with wallet history, connection graph, and flagged messages.
Action Taken:
Options include: ✅ No action (false flag) ⏸️ Temporary communication freeze ⚠️ Warning + Trust Score deduction ❌ Wallet suspension from key features
DAO Transparency
Every decision is logged on-chain. Users can appeal or vote to challenge decisions if abuse is suspected.
🧑⚖️ Who Can Be a Moderator?
Must have a Trust Score of 80+
Voted into moderator status via DAO election
Moderation terms last 90 days, renewable by community vote
Can be removed early by DAO vote if abusing power
🎁 Moderator Rewards
Moderators earn $CONN tokens for each verified case they resolve
Cases are peer-reviewed to ensure fairness
Rewards are reduced if bias or poor handling is detected by the DAO
